Location: Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Distance: 15 kms Duration: 1 full day (9am to 4pm) Level: Medium Environment: Jungle, rivers, rice fields, caves, visit of elephant sanctuary Equipment: Comfortable hiking shoes, backpack with bottle of water, sun protection, cap, sunglasses, mosquito spray, raincoat TREK DESIGN: Starting from the next village after the eco-stay, you are about to enter the wild jungle. You will take a short path and reach the first river. The jungle nature is starting from now and you will understand its environment thanks to our local guide stories and some observations. This trek includes many different steps: green jungle, wide fields with caves area, rice fields with buffalos and at the end, ethic elephant sanctuary. You might be lucky to see wild elephants in the last part of the jungle!     1. First part reveals green jungle passing a multitude of small and shady rivers.  2. Second part takes you out of the jungle reaching a wide area of rice fields, buffaloes and caves.  3.
